Day 01
Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan – Paro to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Meet your guide and drive to Thimphu (approx. 1.5 hours).
En route, enjoy scenic views of mountains and rivers.
Check into your hotel in Thimphu and explore the city at leisure (optional visit to Tashichho Dzong or local markets).
Day 02
Day 2: Thimphu to Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
After breakfast, drive back to Paro.
Begin your hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery), perched on a cliffside about 900 m above the Paro Valley.
Return to Paro in the evening and explore the town or visit local handicraft shops.
Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 03
Day 3: Departure from Bhutan
Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.

This tour covers a lot in one day, so be prepared for some walking! The guide was patient and answered all our questions. The only minor issue was the midday heat, but the company provided water, which helped. Overall, a great way to see Kathmandu’s UNESCO treasures in a short time.
